Overview: Recreating Heads in Miniature & Expressions

Learn how to tackle the challenges of sculpting the human head, the differences between male and female heads, doing portraits, handling expressions, and mastering all of these while working at smaller than life-size scales.
Description: Jon Neill, VFX Artist, Designer and Collectibles Sculptor is teaching a rare 2 x day Weekend workshop. Open to both digital and tradtional artists, the course will enhance your ability to “see” and translate and recreate what you see visually into a traditional 3D, Digital 3D and even improve your 2D work. You will be shown a complete and repeatable workflow of how Jon sculpts miniature heads. With assistance from fellow VFX colleague and anatomy instructor Andrew Cawrse, participants will have the rare privilege to sculpt, improve & develop their work with one-on-one demonstration, instruction and constructive critiques of their portraits throughout the weekend.
You will receive a "Welcome Letter" after enrolling with details on supplies, materials, travel and accommodations.
