Human Anatomy Workshop - Level 2 (intermediate)
Master anatomy through the most beneficial learning medium of physical 3-dimensional sculpture, 2 x World Class Instructors, 50+ hours of original lectures & training, live demonstrations & one-on-one personal instruction. Level-2 is for intermediate to advanced artists, both digital & traditional, with a focus on hi-definition male anatomy.
Course Overview: Instructor Andrew Cawrse, renowned Sculptor & Anatomist, is joined by world-famous figurative sculptor Mark Newman, to teach this course only once per year, so now is the time to sign-up to study at this level. this course includes in-depth study of: the recreation, balance & tracking of the skeleton; exact origin & insertion of the superficial muscular system, including breakdown of single & multi-pennate muscles; concentration into the difficult areas of the shoulder girdle, back, knees, forearms; an introduction to the surface vascular system; and also female comparative anatomy.
Course description: From correct proportions & primitive forms to the step by step mapping of basic into complicated skeletal & muscular anatomy, attendees have to learn 2-dimensionally, drawing each anatomy step, then apply it 3-dimensionally to their sculptures. You will be studying from live World-class models. Attendees get to take their sculptures, tools and lecture materials home with them (shipping options from the workshops are also available, and can be organized with event staff).
